  • Every quarter, I create a limited-edition facial inspired by the seasonal impact on our skin. These treatments are designed to address the challenges your skin faces throughout the year while giving you a glow that lasts. Seasonal facials are open to everyone, offering a refreshing pick-me-up, or a moment to relax and rejuvenate, no prior consultation needed.

  • Gua Sha is a time-honored technique in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that works in harmony with the body’s natural energy (Qi) to promote radiant, healthy skin. This facial uses rhythmic strokes with a smooth Gua Sha tool to enhance circulation, release muscle tension, and improve lymphatic drainage.

    What Does It Does:

Reduces puffiness and sculpts the face by encouraging lymphatic flow.

Boosts circulation, delivering oxygen and nutrients for a natural glow.

Stimulates collagen and elastin production to improve skin tone and elasticity.

Relieves muscle tension, easing tightness in the jaw, forehead, and brows.

Supports detoxification, clearing congestion and reducing inflammation.

Balances Qi, helping to calm stress-related skin concerns and hormonal imbalances.

    Why Try Gua Sha?

This deeply relaxing and therapeutic facial works beyond the skin’s surface, activating the parasympathetic nervous system to reduce stress and support overall well-being. By improving the flow of Qi (vital energy) and blood, it restores harmony to the skin, promoting a clearer, brighter, and more lifted complexion.

Electrolysis is a great option for people looking for a permanent solution to unwanted hair, and this treatment remains the only method of permanent hair removal endorsed by the British Medical Association and approved by the FDA.

    Areas Treated

Electrolysis is perfect for all hair types and colours, both vellus (downy) and terminal (thicker, coarser) hair, particularly in smaller areas such as:

    - Upper and lower lips

    - Chin

    - Jawline

    - Hairline

    - Sides of the face

It is also ideal following laser treatment, which is the permanent reduction of unwanted hair.

    How Does It Work?

Electrolysis permanently destroys the hair unit to prevent regrowth. This is achieved by the electrologist gliding a small needle, no greater in size than an eyelash, into the hair follicle where she administers a tiny current. Depending on the method used, the hair unit will be cauterised or dissolved.

There are two types of electrolysis offered at the clinic.

Diathermy: Uses current to generate heat to cauterise the hair unit. This method is ideal for straight, non-pigmented (white/grey), and red hair. It’s the fastest in-clinic procedure taking approximately 1.5 seconds per hair but may take longer overall for permanent results.

Blend: is a combination of diathermy and galvanic electrolysis. 'Galvanic' converts the salts and fluids in and around the hair follicle into a small amount of sodium hydroxide (lye) to dissolve the unit. A small amount of heat (diathermy) is used to quicken the process, so it takes approximately 5 seconds per hair.

Your electrologist will advise the best method for you during your consultation.

  • Introducing Map My Mole - A Revolutionary Skin Lesion Screening Service

Map My Mole brings professional skin lesion assessments directly to The Happy Skin Clinic. This innovative service, provided by Community Dermatology Limited, offers clients a quick and convenient way to get consultant dermatologist evaluations of moles and skin lesions without the long wait times often associated with traditional appointments.

    With this service, you can:

Visit the clinic for a professional experience: I’ll guide you through a questionnaire, capture high-quality images of your mole or lesion using the UK-certified Dyplens (a Class 1 medical device), and securely submit them via the Map My Mole app.

Receive expert analysis: Consultant dermatologists assess the images and provide a detailed report, helping you decide if further investigation is necessary. Reports are typically delivered within 24–48 hours.

    Why Choose Map My Mole?

Convenience: Skip long waits for in-person dermatology appointments.

Expertise: All assessments are conducted by consultant dermatologists who specialise in skin cancer and other skin conditions.

Accuracy: High-quality imaging with the Dyplens ensures precise analysis.

Peace of Mind: Gain clarity on whether your mole or lesion needs further attention.

    A Flexible Service

While many prefer the clinic experience, Map My Mole also offers a fully remote service. If you’d rather manage the process from home, you can download the Map My Mole app and complete the steps independently.

    Important Note

This service is not a substitute for professional medical advice or diagnosis. The reports provide an indicative opinion to guide you on whether further investigation is required. A definitive diagnosis, if needed, can only be made through a biopsy and histological assessment.
